Job description
Key Responsibilities:
· Infrastructure Management: Oversee servers, local networks, cloud systems, and hardware to ensure high performance.
· Team Leadership: Hire, train, guide, and evaluate IT support staff and system administrators.
· Cybersecurity: Set up security controls, run system audits, and manage data backup and disaster recovery plans.
· Budget & Vendors: Plan the annual IT budget and manage contracts with software and hardware vendors.
· Project Management: Lead software upgrades, system migrations, and new technology rollouts from start to finish.
· Technical Support: Resolve major technical issues and guide staff on best software and hardware practices.
Essential and mandatory requirements
• Experience: 5+ years working in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 to 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of network administration, Windows/Linux server management, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and database security.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to explain technical terms to non-technical teams.
Preferred Certifications
• CCNA / CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)
• MCSE / MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer/Administrator)
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
• PMP (Project Management Professional)
